Environmental Policy
Redbox Signmakers is committed to protecting
and improving the environment for the benefit of all.
We recognise the damaging effects that our own
activities can have on the local and global environment and
will seek
to minimise them. We are committed to continually improving
our own environmental performance. Through our
policies, actions and influence over others we will promote
sustainable development and a Healthy Environment for all.
We will apply the following principles of action to our
services and activities.

We will: |
comply with all
relevant regulatory requirements;
regularly review, and update, our Environmental Policy in
consultation with the wider community;
assess the environmental impact of our policies, activities
and practices;
manage and improve our environmental performance by
implementing the Eco-Management and Audit Scheme;
try to ensure our environmental standards are met by our own
employees, contractors and other service providers;
address complaints about breaches of our Environmental
Policy through the company’s complaints procedure.

use: |
minimise energy and water use in all our activities,
including in our buildings, vehicles and sites

resources: |
reduce our consumption of natural resources, especially
non—renewable ones
purchase products and services that do the least damage to
the environment wherever possible and encourage
others to do the same

Waste: |
minimise the waste we produce and reuse or recycle as much
of our own waste as possible
encourage waste reduction, reuse and recycling throughout
the company

Pollution: |
minimise air, water, noise and light pollution from our own
premises
minimise noise and light pollution wherever possible and
practical

Information and
education: |
increase awareness of environmental matters among our staff
and sub contractors
encourage people throughout Redbox Signmakers to take
responsibility for their own actions and minimise their
impact on the environment through individual and collective
action |
